On May 27th of 2007 GOOD RIDDANCE played their last show ever to a sold out crowd in their hometown of Santa Cruz, California. One of FAT’s longest running bands, we thought it only proper to document the evening in the form of a live record, Remain In Memory – The Final Show. The set list (track listing) reads more like a greatest hits album, mixing the best of the band’s 12+ year career. Touching on favorites from each of their seven full lengths on FAT, EPs and 7”s, this album is a must have for any fan of punk rock. In keeping with the recording legacy of GOOD RIDDANCE we constructed a mobile recording rig by pulling a bunch of equipment from Motor Studios for the live recording. The raw tracks were later sent off to the Blasting Room for mixing and mastering. The final product truly captures the energy present in the room that night and is a perfect final chapter for GOOD RIDDANCE.

This is the first Good Riddance album I got. I've always liked what little I heard on various comps here and there but was never sure where to start, so when I saw this album I figured I'd get it. And holy shit! Good Riddance is fucking bad ass. Fast, hard punk rock plus the energy of a live show in their home town. Think Of Me is hands down one of the best 10 punk songs I've ever heard. As good a fist raising sing-a-long as Dropkick Murphys or Rise Against ever did and as fast and tough as any Pennywise. For me, this album is worth it just to hear that song. I don't know if you can wear a cd out by playing it but I'm trying with track 7. I wish I would have appreciated Good Riddance earlier and maybe had a chance to see them perform.

This is hands down the best live album ever!! What a way to go out in style!! I'd never seen or heard them live before so this was a real treat! Whenever I get a live album I always make sure to shield my eyes from the track list so that I can be surprised when I listen to it, and wow was this a surprise! I was expecting about 20 songs... they played 31! Song after song after song I was saying "fuck ya i'm so glad they're playing this!" The encore of Pisces/Almost Home was my favorite! "All Fall Down" and "One for the Braves" were my second and third favorite. I'd give this album a 99/100. My only complaint is that the very last song they played was "Waste," and I'm not exactly a vegan so that was somewhat dissapointing. They clearly wanted to make a statement by ending their final show with that song. I can't really complain though, I agree with them on almost all other issues, and what really matters is the music!

This is one of the best live albums ever. They play over 30 songs and they all rule. This CD is a must have for everyone. The intro is one of the best things I've ever heard in my life.
