“This record is a version of what a van ride with us would be like,” says The Pietasters’ bassist and songwriter Jorge Pezzimenti of their soul roots, rock and reggae-inspired new album, All Day. Stephen Jackson, the band’s founder, vocalist and co-songwriter seconds his bandmate’s review of the fresh-baked tracks. “We’ve gotten a lot more comfortable in the studio. I think it’s evident in the vibe of this album.” All Day, captures the high energy, brotherly camaraderie and attention to detail on which they’ve built their rock-steady name as an explosive live attraction. “We may not be rich but we can claim some amazing experiences,” says Jackson. It’s that experience, combined with a commitment to expand beyond their humble beginnings as a ska band, which are at the foundation of All Day, a journey through the swingin’ ‘60s and the soulful ‘70s that sounds right on time.

4/6/2008 by Matthew from Toronto, ON Canada Rating:
slower, more mellow but with the same killer muscianship and hook-laden grooves as any and all other releases by the pietasters. a solid album for relaxing after a hard day, or just a fun party album. change my ways, don't wanna know, late night call, dream of you, anj gil, so long are all great songs..but as i said, it's all amazing. buy it. the pietasters are back, and hopefully, touring canada sometime soon.

1/19/2008 by John from Bradenton, FL Rating:
Great cd. Very much sounds like some of their older stuff. Keep on lyin' is one of my favorite songs on this cd. Change my ways is also a good one. You can't go wrong with the Pietasters hell, even buy this if your first getting into them. I got turbo when I first got into them and that was an awesome cd. Their all good just can't go wrong with this band.
