Merging unparalleled musical bravery, prodigious musicianship, flawless execution and an angular landscape of forward thinking ideas, Dillinger reinvent the rock 'n roll idiom while pleasing their harshest critics: themselves. MISS MACHINE's modernist clang proves once and for all why DEP is a paradigm to be followed, a yardstick by which other bands are measured.

I love this CD. It's brilliant. A lot better then any preceding album I've heard by the boys. You'll love it.

12/26/2004 by Jeff from Hartington, ON Canada Rating:
Amazing. DEP are fast, angry, and technical. Although this isn't their best work it's still very good. If you're already a fan of DEP then buy this for sure. If you're just getting into this "dillinger craze" thats going on right now then get Calculating Infinity or Under The Running Board first.

P.S. the new singer is pretty good, and could kick all of your asses.

9/15/2004 by Marcus from Weslaco, TX Rating:
This Dillinger cd is awesome. For those of you not familiar with the Dillinger Escape Plan they are the creators of Calculating Infinity on of the most name checked records in existence. Where that album challenged musical boundaries, playing in insane time signatures with incredible musicanship,on this album they decide to prove their critics wrong. Those that scoffed that Dillinger Escape Plan were merely noise and technicality simply for the sake of it we be shocked to hear tunes that are more driven towards melodys and songwriting, they manage to do all this though without losing the one thing these muscians appear to care about most, their integrity. For fans of Dillinger this is a great cd that still captures the intensity and odd time signatures that you loved about Calculating Infinity, but it shows a band not afraid to experiment with its music, regardless of what anyone thinks.

im sort of new to the whole hardcore scene but this cd has definatly brodened my horizons. i dont have any of ther other cds but from what i hear now they definatly have what it takes to keep me interested in ther old stuff. greg puciato has about 20 different voices that he uses and its really neat. the breakdowns are mind numbing and the time changes will leave u wondering what the hell just happened. this is hard on the ears for new listeners but take it from me im one and at first i knew it was good for what it was but now im definatly a true listener. pick up any of ther cds i bet ther all great. i give this 4 1/2 stars because i am new to this and it will grow on me more and more. i give this cd my approval

This is my first DEP album and I must say its literally insane, I swear the new lead singer eats steal and shits rebar(just look at a pic of him and you'll understand) The songs I grew fond of when listening to this are sunshine the werewolf, babys first coffin, and setting fire to sleep. Definently check this out.

8/1/2004 by Charlie from Silver Spring, MD Rating:
This cd is completely insane. Even though it is a somewhat new dillinger because of the new singer, they still have an absurdly chaotic sound. This album is really good, but i recommend calculating infinity before anything. The new singer has about 20 different voices that he uses on this album, ranging from a nine inch nails-esque sound on phone home, and puts in a few jake bannon-ish vocals here and there. He sounds a lot like mike patton too. I definitely recommend this, but if you're new to dillinger, get calculating infinity.
