Spitalfield - Better Than Knowing Where You Are
Growing up in the public eye has never been an easy task for a young band. We have had the distinctive pleasure of watching SPITALFIELD mature from a pop-punk band out of the suburbs of Chicago into an impressive, fierce, and very smart rock band…and this was only with their first two records!
The whole world took notice on their critically acclaimed second record, Stop Doing Bad Things, making it evident that the “SPITALFIELD sound” was becoming a whole new beast altogether.

This is a really good album. I would say its better than "Stop Doing Bad Things" and about tied with "Remember Right Now." The first track isn't really a song, its only 20 seconds long, but you'll have it memorized without realizing it in no time and its a good intro. The songs -The Only Thing That Matters, On The Floor, Better Than Knowing Where You Are, actually i am going to list almost all the songs so i'll just say that the only songs i don't like are "Hold On" and "Novacaine" also gets old fast. This album sounds a little more smoother or mainstream than Remember Right Now. PS. If i rewrote this, it might just sound the same....

What happened to this band? Although one could pick a worse album, but Remember Right Now was one of my favorite albums when it came out in the summer of 2003. It sounds like a lot of "radio rock" songs. I do not recommend this disc. Buy something good, Like Braid or Hey Mercedes
