The book was alright, I wish there were more stories about the tours, and I wish it was more descriptive.

One of the best books I've ever read. Probably 'cause I don't like to read many books, but when I heard about this I had to get it. Tripp is definately a good writer and if you like the Unseen or don't you should still read it. There are some pretty funny stories and a couple of cool pics in it. Plus, it is an easy read.

It's a pretty solid book but about half of it is taken verbatim from the old "History" section that used to be on The Unseen's website. It's not going to win any awards but it is a pretty quick and interesting read.

Fcuk Yeah, so good. I love the unseen, they were the band who made me want to play music and they keep on inspiring me. They represent what punk means to me. And what I would want Punk to be. This book was hard for me to get through, not because it is bad, but because it made me want to do so much with my own band that I couldnt sleep. I would have to go write a new song or work on booking shows or a million other things. I loved it.

Do not compare this book with Get in the Van. It's absurd that Dick Lucas even commented on the back of it. If this is what being in a touring punk band is about, then punk is dead.

What a great read! Tripp is a great story teller and makes me wish I was in a punk band. Ok, I go practice guitar now so I can write my own stories. They wont be as good as these though.

I was really expecting this to be an extremely fascinating book full of interesting anecdotes. There are indeed a few amusing stories that are told such as staying at a young fan's house on the road, only to be kicked out by an enraged stepfather and meeting Mick Jones from the Clash at a London McDonalds after he used the pisser. However, I felt that most of the book was about band personnel changes and redundant ramblings of how indie bands struggle with money and relationships...we all know this already. This book is definitely not anywhere near as good as Henry Rollins'"Get In The Van". I would only recommend this book to someone who is a hardcore Unseen fan and must complete his/her collection.
