Few bands can turn adversity on it's head the way Misery Signals has. Following the departure of founding vocalist Jesse Zaraska, the band rebounded in style by finding the perfect replacement in Karl Schubach.

(THIS IS NOT SHARI.....THIS IS HER BOYFRIEND NICKE. THE CD WAS FOR ME)

The new vocalist sounds really similar to the guy on the last CD. This one has a more polished and produced sound to it. The Failsafe is the song I heard that let me know that these guys didnt bitch out.....This is a killer CD. This is just one of those CDs that everyone needs to pick up. I do like Of Malice And The Magnum Heart better because it sounds alot rawer and more personal though (And The Year Summer Ended In June really strikes a personal note with me). Both of them are mighty fine CDs though

Great CD. Brings to mind Bury Your Dead who is another awesome band. If you like them, you'll like Misery Signals. That is all.

11/13/2006 by Patrick from Urbandale, IA Rating:
Musically this material is traditional Misery Signals. Metallic, off-beat and very heavy. The lyrics are something that I can relate to. The new vocalist is a little better in my opinion. I love it.
