$17.00

RUDE BOY is part drama, part documentary and part concert film. The camera focuses on Ray Gange, a punk music fan who leaves his dead-end job by landing work as a roadie for his favourite band, the Clash. Intertwined with numerous concert performances and backstage footage from the band's 1978 tour, RUDE BOY paints a telling portrait of Britain's turbulent times with its youth of the day.

4/2/2007 by Murphy from Apo, AE Rating:
Wow. I've truly never been so wrapped up in a shitty punk movie before. No offense, the movie has no plot, but the live footage is so amazing! My favorite part is just when Joe Strummer is playing on the piano and the main character starts dancing. I just love seeing how natural Strummer is. The footage in the recording studios is really awesome too. I can guarantee you won't listen to their songs again and not be moved all that much more after seeing this movie. It's terrific!

10/4/2006 by Carmen from Vienna, MD Rating:
this was made in kind of poor quality/it's hard to hear some things, and you'll see the same shot for like 5 minutes while nothing is really going on/the editing could have been better. it's so boring i haven't finished watching it, but once i do i'm sure i'll like it. i did get up to the part where the kid in the movie it talking with joe strummer at a pub, and that was cool.
