This album sucked. New Catch 22 cds are a waste of money. I will never buy another Catch 22 release for as long as I live. They Suck!

slower than previous albums, these boys take their sound in a new, but solid direction. standout tracks 'the spark', 'a minor point' and 'opportunity'. ive seen these boys 3 times, and i never get tired of them. keep ska alive, pcik up 'permanent revolution'!

Alright first of all this CD was excellent, yeah its true that they have slowed the music down a little but it is more detailed and precise. If you know anything about communism or Trotsky you will appreciate it more. For those of you who are still whining about Tom leaving shut up. Keasby Nights wasnt that great anyway. He went and started another band and all their songs are whiny and are not that good so just quiet down.

I was C22 last year and was amazed. I have a few of their old tracks, which were great. I got this album and...well... my first reaction was "Is there another Catch 22?" There was a point in time when C22 was good--when they were real ska. This... just isn't it.

Have been a fan of catch 22 for a long time, through out all the lineup changes and what not, but i must say that i am dissapointed with this album. Not understanding the whole concept behind this album. A major let down.

The more I listen to this, the more I like it. Very ska, very good. Kinda like the specials meet sublime...wait, does that make any damn sense? Regardless, it is a damn good album, i just wish it had a couple of more songs on it.

This CD is an amazing tale of a man throughout his life from the start of his problems to the ultimate ending of his life. Overall, Catch 22 delivers. This one definately is better than any old Dinosaur Sounds you've heard from ths lineup. Elrend is once again singing lead vocals, and although, at times, it is easy to find his voice annoying, he captures what they wanted and for once, his singing ability, or lack-there-of, helped out. I'm giving it a 5 just because the musical content and the lyrical content bring forth a historical documentation of a man deserving of such a "tribute" if you will.

This cd is awesome for some of the solid songs it produces, but the songs are really short and some of the other songs...well suck. I'm sorry but one of the tracks sounds like pure elevator music if you took the vocals away. I don't mean to be so harsh, but there isn't enough fast songs, just slow mushy ones. still a great album but can't compare against streetlight manifesto.
