| One of the better Punk Rock bands leftover from the Second Wave that still make great music. Swingin' Utters are punk rock legends. I have heard many people say that this is the best of FAT's LIVE IN A DIVE series of live records. They did a pretty good job of picking out the classics plus new material. If you buy the CD it has bonus CDROM footage and if you buy the Vinyl you get a bonus comic book. |

| The Utters are a great band. I've never seen em live so I was glad to pick this up. Their live set on this covers old stuff, new stuff, and stuff in the middle. It's all good. If you're a fan, get this. |

| For those who have not been fortunate enough to catch an Utters show, this cd is the band at their finest. Of all the Live in a Dive series from Fat, this one probably contains the cleanest and clearest sound. I would not hesitate to put it up there as the top live cd that I have heard from a punk band.
They play a little something off each of their releases, and mix in a couple covers as well. You get the full spectrum of the Utters sound, from the raw fury of "Don't Ask Why" and "Pills and Smoke", to the acoustic sounds of "All That I Can Give" and "Fruitless Fortunes", to the vintage Utters classics from Juvenile Product of the Working Class "15th and T", "Windspitting Punk", and "The Next in Line". Every song played with an unquestioned passion. I had waited almost a year to get my hands on this since I read that they were recording a live cd, and no doubt it was well worth the wait. This band is in a category all by themselves. Amazing. |

| I love the "live in a dive" series and I love the Utters, so I'm biased! But really, this album is great and the quality of the live recording is amazing. All their best songs are on this record, so it's a good introduction for new fans and it's also a great collection for the superfans. I even watched the enhanced CD and it's got some great footage from the show and an interview with the band that is done by Fat Mike! It's pretty cool, and all in all, this CD is the total package. |
