Anthony Raneri is awesome, and this album really shows off his talents. You can really hear the emotion in these songs when they're stripped down to acoustic guitars. "Winter" is really cool, and so is the Smoking Popes cover, "Megan". I would recommend this to any Bayside fan.

if you own the sirens or the selftitled, you should already own this one, if not, its a great buy if you are really into acoustic stuff. the dvd is great, the cd is cool other than the two covers, but that's just me, and the puttin "don't call me peanut" live from the dvd adds to the cd sincd it is one of the better performed songs from the live set.

If you like bayside and u like acoustic then you will love this!!! ive had this album for almost a year and ive heard it many times, i like all the songs and love half of them, its the best bayside has released yet!

Nothing short of AMAZING. DEFINATLY a must-have for any Bayside fan[atic]. Winter (the track written just for this album) spectacular. The DVD is great, and complete with a Beatz tribute. I have an increased level of respect for Anthony and Jack, knowing that they had to deal with such a tradgedy and then continued to tour.

9/18/2006 by Nick from Osage, MN Rating:
very very good. this was recorded after there van flipped on halloween this last year, killing drummer johnny beatz and breaking bassist nick's back. so anthony and jack went on tour, which resulted in this all acoustic CD. the first song is obviously an ode to johnny beatz, while the others are older classics, with a new twist to them. theres also a new song with the whole band and a kickass version of the smoking popes "megan" which they have josh caterer do vocals.

8/25/2006 by Chris from Corpus Christi, TX Rating:
I have been a fan of Bayside for a while, and the news of the tragedy surrounding the band sucks to high heaven, but the music being performed still blows me away. May Bayside never waiver from doing what feels right. This Cd will have you singing along at the top of your lungs, wondering why they never threw in an acoustic jam here or there. The DVD gives you a more personal feel of how the band is coping with such a tragedy, and almost ellicits too much emotion for me.

3/6/2006 by Daniel from Hollywood, FL Rating:
Eh...This isn't good. In fact, it is down-right corny. I do like this band A LOT! But, this album was definitely aimed at catering to the more "feminine" listener. There is no energy to the music and it is just "Sissy singers" "singing songs" trying to turn this band into a pop icon. If they were to have done songs from "Sirens and Condolences," it would me much better. I base this logic on the fact that the only good song on the album is the only song from "Sirens." Instead they chose a majority of their songs from their third album...which is the third best. The new songs are not good either. Good Night! I am going to play this CD again. Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

3/4/2006 by Shane from Saginaw, MI Rating:
I didn't think this cd would be that good, but after I listened to the whole cd I started to love it. I've listened to it every day so far and it doesn't get old. It also has a really good song dedicated to John Holohan called winter. If you like Bayside then you should really get this cd
