Aiden

Nightmare Anatomy

Victory 2592

Released on October 4, 2005

$13.00

Seattle Horror Rock band AIDEN are armed and ready to take their listeners into an imaginative, threatening and mesmerizing realm. Combining goth, metal, punk rock and hardcore, every chord on Nightmare Anatomy resounds with the threat of tragic romance and nightmares that never cease. Singer and soon to be icon wiL sings each painfully beautiful note with every ounce of his soul. After forming in 2003, AIDEN released a full length album entitled Our Gang’s Dark Oath, and the viral word of mouth rapidly spread throughout the country. Nightmare Anatomy has the men of AIDEN poised to become the shot of excitement and originality that all genres of goth, metal and punk rock have been missing for years.

Bad...just bad. It takes everything that sucks about music today and makes it worse. Too say that is is pop screamo would be giving it a compliment. I heard it and I felt like someone stole my soul and sold my birthday to Satan. Yes, that bad. It's is bouncy. It is whiney. Fuck man. It is just plain awful. By the way Nechole here, not Jason. Why can't I give it less than one star? I could rock out to Fall Out Boy easier than this.

A cross between AFI & My Chemical Romance. This is a great album and I recommend it if your a fan of the bands named above. Aiden is the band to watch for 2006.

So i pre-ordered this cd cause i loved our gangs dark oath. Nightmare Anatomy is themed (as the title gives away) on Aidens phildsohpy of life by exploring nightmares. The lyrics get quite repetitive throughout the cd, however they are stong, it does get a little boring though. When I saw Aiden live at KerrangIV in Scotland, they blew my brains out. It was more than this cd could prepare me for. Bullet for my valentine (headline band of Kerrang tour, totally massive in UK) were swept of the stage by aiden. Aiden made the crowd feel like part of something really big. Aiden will make it big in the UK. They have already had a giant impact.

Plain and simple, Fuckin Awesome. Buy it. i love the screaming and powerful lyrics that are found in every song. if you are a fan of hardcore, i suggest that you get it NOW. I can't wait to see what they come up with in the future.

Good album, just a little too emo. Knife Blood Nightmare and Breathless are probably the best songs on it.

I love it! There is so much energy in the music and lyrics and it speaks volumes in the video. I didn't get the cool T-shirt though maybe they ran out.

After listening to this entire CD, I was very pleasently suprised. It is a bit of a change from 'Our Gangs Dark Oath', but not so much that it wasn't any good. wiL's voice sounds better in the video for 'Knife Blood Nightmare' than it does on the actual album. I think the entire band as a whole has grown with this release, and I hope they will continue to do so as they progress.
