The band has matured artistically and continues to push boundaries. With their new CD, "Say Hello To Sunshine", Finch allowed for maximum creative freedom for the recording process and took a year in their hometown of Temecula (60 miles north of San Diego) to make something uniquely Finch.

This is one of the better albums of 2005. They're trying to be Glassjaw and seem to listen to Dillinger Escape a lot but they still put out good tunes. I suggest this not only because it rocks but because it is a diverse album. Easy to listen to all the way through. A bit more than 4 stars on my ultra-anal needs a decimal point scale. 4.3 that is!!!

This CD is not very good. It sucks to say it, but the style of the band changed completely between "What It Is To Burn" and this album. They changed drummers and it affected everything about the band. If you want to check this band out, pick up "What It Is To Burn" because it is great. Otherwise don't worry about this record.

Sunshine is a very bright thing, this cd is quite sunshine though. I fucking love Finch. This CD is very good and consitant and has so killer songs on it, like 13. Some of the songs kind of blur though and sound similar to each other, unlike What it is to burn where every song was different and amazing. They did a good job considering member changes. The singer is trying too hard to be hardcore on this album and makes it sound like the common post hardcore angst style, shoulda stuck to his melodies and screamo like style, that is what made Finch. Given screamo has become pretty popular, but their first cd is unmatchable because each song sounds different and no one else sounds like finch. this cd is still a must tho

This album is slightly different from past finch albums. Buy this album if you enjoy an evolving band with a new sound. This album has its highs and its lows, but it is a good album.

Although Finch's sound has changed a lot the one thing remains the same and thats the fact that they want so bad to take over the throne that bands like Glassjaw and Deftones created. The singer is constantly trying to sing like Darryl of Glassjaw and 90% of the guitar riffs are complete rip-offs of good Deftones and Glassjaw songs. i'd rather listen to their first cd than this any day.

This Cd is amazing!!!! Finch has really broke out of the emo/screamo sound that a million bands are doing. This is a dark record that is miles away from the "my heart is broken, come cry with me and join me in my misery" lyrics of What it is to burn. Don't get me wrong I do like What it is to burn but this cd is a HUGE step forward lyrically and musically. I hope Finch gets the respect they diserve on this cd, buy this one its AMAZING!!!!!!
