| Disconnecktie : The Faithful Vampire is easily one of the best Norma Jean Tracks i ever heard!
Albums worth getting for that track alone, epic hardcore at its best.
Josh is my fav vocalist ever yes...but the band dont seem to really suffer without him, the new guy can scream with the best of them.
still one of the best hardcore bands around!!! |

| This cd is definetly worth having if you're looking for a quality hardcore/metalcore album that isn't filled with cliche crap. Norma Jean follows up their previous stuff well with "O God, the Aftermath". Plenty of breakdowns and a signature scream help keep this cd in usual Norma Jean style. This cd is one of the better metalcore albums that have come out recently. |

| This is fucking awesome. A bit more focused and succinct than their last release, and their new vocalist really adds power to the tunes. What's more, these guys realllllly like Botch - definately a good thing. If you like this, go check out "We Are The Romans". |

| One word: Brilliance.
How do you follow up one of the best, most loved modern hardcore albums? Ditch the old formula, get a member of Botch to produce you and rock your socks off! With 'O God, The Aftermath', 'NJ' have achieved this feat, they've even coped with losing their lead vocalist, which is something many bands never recover from.
New frontman Cory manages to fill Josh Scogins shoes admirably, taking 'NJ' in his own new direction and trying his hand at more than just a scream. The guitar work is absolutely brilliant, some great riffs in here guys. Forget about the breakdowns, this is the new noise.
The artwork is awesome, lovely little CD booklet too and even the names of the songs are great.
Buy it. you'll like it. |

| Holy shit, these guys have been listening to a lot of Botch lately ... well guess what, I have been drooling over Botch for the last 2 years. This album is not as good as We Are The Romans, but thank god (no pun intended) these guys are talented enough to pull it off and still make it sound original. |

| It was a long follow-up after Bless the Martyr, but it was worth it. The new singer brings forth more vocal ability to Norma Jean's music, not as many screams. The guitar still sounds great too. |

| only one song on this cd that actually caught my attention, bless the child kiss the martyr was so much bettre. vocals are terrible. and i was just totally dissapointed. |

| Well, the new vocalist kinda sounds like the original vocalist(Josh Scogin).But, the new vocalist sings a little on some of the tracks, which is o.k., but it just kinda suprised me with Norma Jean.But they have grown as a band and the new vocalist is certainly talented.I just think Josh Scogin had a certain "Flava"that he added to the band and I think he took that with him when he started The Chariot.But, this album is great.The music is off-beat and discordant.The vocals and lyrics are sweet.The song titles are very clever.But, if you're just getting into Norma Jean, I would suggest "Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child."And if you like that I would also recommend The Chariot's debut cd"Everything is Alive, Everything is Breathing, Nothing is Dead and Nothing is Bleeding."Both simply phenomenal bands.A must for your hardcore collection. |

| Awesome! Ok, it's not the same as Bless the Martyr, and I prefer the first one but god.. this is some good shit! And the booklet is totally insanse. Buy that if you like crazy hardcore. |
