This is by far the best CD I've heard in a long time. I've already worn out my other one. Their EP was brilliant, but I got used to this new album (MORE AFTEH!) and now I can't get enough. These guys are really amazing. I love them!

6/9/2005 by Kate from Largs, N.s.w, Australia Rating:
sounded so procesed and a bit like yellowcard.... the screams sounded like a computer had done them all.... this album sucked ass

4/25/2005 by Sondre from Bergen, Norway Rating:
Argghhhhhhhh!!!! After hearing their EP "silence is golden", I was waiting for the album of the year, but this cd is a big disapointment. The violins and screaming voice are almost gone, and that makes the songs less cool. The cd is good, but if you can find the EP, buy that instead.

3/17/2005 by Mike from Carlisle, PA Rating:
This is a great debut album, however, it is tainted because their EP was so much better. They redid the songs from that and ruined them. They established a trademark sound on it and then changed directions with this CD. "Next of Kin" was a great fast-paced emo tune until they overhauled it to a boring, slower song. Don't get me wrong, there are some excellent songs on this CD, such as "99 With an Anchor" and "Things Aren't So Beautiful (1 & 2)", but it's overall a letdown after the EP (which of course is out of print now).

10/21/2004 by Lauren from Manasquan, NJ Rating:
*sigh*

their EP "silence is Golden" was fucking brilliant. then they come out with this. WAY overproduced, no more violins, voices are very ever-done. their EP is out of print, but if you ever get a chance to own it, it's really amazing.
